Junction Boxes

A weighbridge is only as good as the box that ties its cells together. Ours sum the corners, let you trim each one, and shrug off a lightning season.

Why it matters

Small box, big insurance.

Per-corner trim

Balance every cell so the deck reads the same wherever the truck stops — the foundation of an honest weighbridge.

Surge protection

MOV and gas-discharge protection on the heavier boxes stops a lightning surge reaching your cells.

Sealed cabinet

IP66 housing keeps dust, water and tampering out of the one place every cell connects.

Questions buyers ask us

Plainly answered.

Which junction box for a 60-tonne weighbridge?
A standard six-cell, 60-tonne bridge runs on a JB-8 — eight channels gives you the six cells plus headroom. Longer eight-cell decks also use the JB-8 or move to the JB-10. Send the deck drawing and we will confirm.
Analog or digital summing — which do I need?
Analog is the proven, economical choice for most bridges. Digital makes fault-finding and remote trimming easier on larger or hard-to-reach installs. We will recommend based on your site and indicator.
Do I really need surge protection?
In most of India, yes. A junction box sits at the electrical centre of the deck, and a nearby strike can push a surge into every cell at once. The protection costs little and saves the expensive part.
